Valerie Tauro is a musician and creative writer with a passion for interdisciplinary storytelling. While at Fordham, she studied music composition and production with Daniel Ott and Kevin Farrell, both of whom she would like to thank for their guidance and mentorship. "In, Out, and Around" marks her first collaboration with dancers as well as her first original score.

Shaolin Cuevas, originating in Chicago, IL, began her dance journey at Gus Giordano Dance School and is currently an Ailey/Fordham BFA student. She has apprenticed for Dance In the Parks and is currently an Apprentice for the Gus Legacy Company. Shaolin has performed works by choreographers Houston Thomas, William Isaac, Eugene Peabody, and Kate Jablonski. She also participated in the Hubbard Street’s EXPLORE Intensive and Gus Giordano Dance School summer Intensives.



Lena Gilardi (she/her), a New York native, grew up training at Dance Cavise Studios under Joe Cavise. There, she spent seven years as a company member with Off Center Dance Theater, leading interactive performances and workshops for youth with disabilities. Lena is a rising junior in the Ailey/Fordham BFA program pursuing a second major in Interdisciplinary Math/Economics. She has performed works by Colin Heininger, Adrienne Hurd, and Vivake Khamsingsavath, and has attended summer intensives with Ailey and Hubbard Street.



Molina Dew-Brunis is a Washington DC native who began acting at Sidwell Friends School and The Children's Theater Workshop at Howard University. She started dancing Vaganova ballet at The New School of Dance Arts. Dew-Brunis appeared in productions: Say it loud: A Celebration of the Civil Rights Movement, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Newsies, and Puffs, to name a few. Dew-Brunis worked with Vivake Khamsingsavath, Katie Swords Thurman, Jhelan Gordon-Salaam, Hollie Wright, and Lisa Johnson-Willingham.

Akira Kong (Brooklyn, NY) trained at the Fiorello H. Laguardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts as a dance major and Manhattan Youth Ballet. She has also attended summer intensives with Complexions contemporary ballet, BalletX, and Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts (EMIA). Kong is currently a junior in the Fordham/Ailey BFA program double majoring in dance and psychology, and has performed works by Adam Barruch, Alvin Ailey, Judith Jamison, and Vive Khamsingsava.



Reese Windust is a current third-year student at Fordham University where she is obtaining her BFA degree in dance at The Ailey School and a BA in visual arts. She has performed in The Ailey School BFA Fall Concert and Benefit Concert. Working with guest choreographers like Adrianna Hurd, Imani Faye, Nattie Trogdon and Hollis Bartlett, Vivake Khamingsavath, and Cain Coleman. Additionally, she has attended a few summer intensives including Hubbard Street’s CREATE Intensive and BodyTraffic’s Summer Intensive.





Elijah Warrington (he/him) is a lighting and sound designer, composer, and audiovisual technician based in New York. He is currently pursuing the final year of his undergraduate degree at Fordham University. Beatrice Miller (she/they) was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. She received her early training at Oakland School for the Arts. Beatrice graduated summa cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program. They have performed works by Alvin Ailey, Hope Boykin, Christopher Huggins, Keerati Jinakunwiphat, Tamisha Guy, and Kimberly Bartosik. Beatrice was a 2026 Dance Fellow at Carmel Dance Festival. She choreographed for the exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design, Saya Woolfalk: Empathic Universe. She is the writer, co-choreographer, and co-producer of In, Out, and Around





Alaire Galloway is a multidisciplinary artist from Philadelphia, PA. She is a senior in Fordham/Ailey BFA Program, double-majoring in Design and Technology. She has ventured into many artistic projects, which include animation, costume design, and digital design. Alaire has most recently worked with Multimedia Artist Saya Woolfalk to collaboratively choreograph and perform for her exhibit, Saya Woolfalk Empathic Universe at the Museum of Art and Design. She continues to explore the power of choice and connectivity.

Musical Composition

Beatrice Miller was born and raised in the Bay Area in California. She trained in dance at Oakland School for the Arts, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, San Francisco Academy of Ballet, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and San Francisco City Ballet School. She performed as a company member with Savage Jazz Dance Company. She is completing her BFA in Dance with a minor in Music at Fordham University and the Ailey School, where she has performed works by Alvin Ailey, Christopher Huggins, Tamisha Guy, Kimberly Bartosik, Janice Rosario, and Danielle Diniz. While completing her BFA, she has also trained at The Graham School, Parsons Dance, and Steps on Broadway. She has choreographed works for the concert dance stage and for the exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design, Saya Woolfalk: Empathic Universe. Beatrice likes to write, read, sing, cook, go to the park, and swim in the ocean. 



Alaire Galloway is a multidisciplinary artist from Philadelphia, PA. She is a senior in Fordham/Ailey BFA Program, double-majoring in Design and Technology.
