As a multidisciplinary artist, Alaire use dance, digital design, and stop-motion animation to portray my experiences through visualization and movement. In her work, she explores themes of feminism, racism, and world-building. Her current focus is existentialism in performance. How can performance evoke intangible feelings and thoughts.

Alaire's work draws from theorists such as bell hooks and artists such as Bill T. Jones and Saya Woolfalk. As she progress, She look forward to the opportunity to continue exploring dance and multimedia art. In doing so, She plans to elevate my research in philosophy as she finds her own philosophy through dance, art, and movement. Abstract


In Out and Around is a multimedia dance-play by Alaire Galloway and Beatrice Miller with an original music score by Valerie Tauro. It explores existential themes through animation, dance, music, and theater. 

My role as co-creative producer, choreographer and storyteller is to create the container in which the story unfolds. The animation I created influences the character's actions and choices as they are stuck in a never-ending loop. The animation serves as a physical representation of existentialism, in which each of the five characters must confront.

Beatrice Miller (she/they) was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. She received her early training at Oakland School for the Arts. Beatrice graduated summa cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program. They have performed works by Alvin Ailey, Hope Boykin, Christopher Huggins, Keerati Jinakunwiphat, Tamisha Guy, and Kimberly Bartosik. Beatrice was a 2026 Dance Fellow at Carmel Dance Festival. She choreographed for the exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design, Saya Woolfalk: Empathic Universe. She is the writer, co-choreographer, and co-producer of In, Out, and Around.
